Kansas City Band Northwinds Symphonic Band

2007-08 Member News

Dear NWS Band,

This email is to inform you one of your members, Carrie Shuck, will be
receiving a Missouri Distinguished Service Award from the Center High School
PTA at Center School District's annual Founder's Day Event, Tuesday February
26th. This is a surprise award, so don't congratulate her before that date.

Carrie has given so much to the high school. We wanted to recognize her hard
work with this award. We know how much she enjoys playing and performing
with your group. We thought you might give her a pat on the back for
juggling all she does for the school with her passion for playing music
outside her job description.

Best wishes to all who perform in the band. She loves being a part of the
Northwinds Symphonic Band.

Sincerely,
Terri Henges
CHS PTA and band parent
