the northwinds mission

"The 'NorthWinds'- an ensemble of exceptional musicians assembled to rehearse and perform high quality entertaining music to a wide variety of audiences."

This is a large symphonic band composed of mostly current, semi-retired and retired music educators from the greater Kansas City area and beyond. We rehearse weekly and perform approximately every six weeks. This is a highly skilled ensemble playing the finest in symphonic band literature.
